Why Attend the Forum?

The 4th National Adaptation Forum, will take place April 23-25, 2019 in Madison Wisconsin. The National Adaptation Forum is a biennial convening open to all interested in climate change adaptation to share lessons learned, develop new innovative practice, and network with fellow practitioners. The Forum is the largest climate adaptation conference in the United States.

Why attend?

The National Adaptation Forum brings together over 1,000 people from across the United States, First Nations along with Canada, Mexico and beyond. Over 20 adaptation topics are represented including natural resources, climate justice, business operations, agriculture, extreme events and many more. The expertise of attendees range vastly from urban planners, landscape architects, biologists, community leaders, financial advisors, natural resource managers and community members. The vast representation at the Forum leads to critical cross-sectoral conversations and important access to new perspectives and ideas. The 2019 Program is packed with high-level presentations including 2 plenaries, 94 Symposia Sessions, 18 Training Sessions, 16 Working Groups, 20 Tools and 140 Posters.
