Regional Adaptation Fora (RAFs) provide an opportunity for adaptation professionals to gather in the year between National Adaptation Forum gatherings. RAFs allow attendees to dive deeper into issues that may be specific to their region and build connections with other professionals in their areas. We encourage you to learn more about the RAFs and consider attending one in your area!

Northwest Climate Conference

The NWCC has provided a networking and learning community for practitioners, scientists, tribal members, and community organizers interested in climate change impacts and adaptation in the Northwest for over a decade. The NWCC is committed to supporting equitable climate adaptation outcomes and building equity and diversity in climate science, policy, and adaptation practice. We encourage our conference attendees and presenters to advance the conversation around climate justice both as a stand alone topic and across the many other topics and themes profiled in the conference. Local Solutions

The goal of this meeting is to build capacity for socially just and equitable migration and enhanced regional climate resilience. This convening will be a culmination of the Northeast Safe and Thriving for All (NEST) project, funded by the NOAA Climate Adaptation Partnerships (formerly RISA) program to convene stakeholders to create an upper Northeast region that can become a climate refugia that is resilient, revitalized, socially just, and decarbonized.

Local Solutions is organized by the Antioch University Center for Climate Preparedness and Community Resilience
